Michael Soltau is a film music composer mostly known for the TV-series "Notruf Hafenkante"/ZDF.

He also produced classical crossover artists, among them Gregorian, The Ten Tenors, José Carreras and Alessandro Rinella.
His extensive studio career began in the 90s and early 2000s in Frank Peterson’s Nemo-Studio, where he worked on seven of Sarah Brightman‘s albums.
